Working like Teddy: The Verdict

Okay, this is the final week of the month long experiment where I tried to work like Teddy Roosevelt, so now it’s time for the verdict. The verdict is that it’s exhausting. I picked the shortest month not even on purpose and I had several days where I could not keep up the pace or the intense focus of the great bull moose himself. Based on what I know about Theodore Roosevelt though he became this efficient and determined through a lifetime of determination that was fueled by his obsession with being stronger than the body he was born into.

I have not had those same circumstances so I won’t call this experiment a complete failure. I think that it was very productive even if I couldn’t keep pace and for that reason I’m going to keep trying Teddy Roosevelt’s work method.
